Social Work Division

Children and Youth Centres are established to encourage children and youth to engage in worthwhile activities and pursuits, allowing them to reach out into the community with a view to assisting them with their personal development. To help children and youth to face new challenges and difficulties in their personal growth and / or changing environment and circumstances, four core programmes are provided. They are Guidance and counselling service, Supportive service for young people in disadvantaged circumstances, Socialisation programmes and Development of social responsibility and competence.

Through provision of Study and Reading Room, various kinds of Indoor and Outdoor Group Activities, Volunteers service, leadership Training, Summer Programs, school supporting service, routine interest groups and classes, tutorial classes, drop-in service, and various parent-child activities, etc., the children and youth are led in a healthy, harmonious and joyful growing path.
